Chinese New Year

I produced this disembodied chap to celebrate the Chinese year of the dragon. I tried using a white background, felt a little weird being parted from my usual vintage paper look, not sure if I like it or not. The colours definitely POP more.

Philip Pullman's 'His Dark Materials'

Wow, it has been far too long  since my last post. I know this is very late but I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year!

I produced these book jacket designs for Eastwing Illustration Agency's collaborative publishing project. Each Eastwinger chose three book jackets to illustrate, I went for Philip Pullman's 'His Dark Materials' series. I kept the colour work very simple and tried not to over complicate the image. Overall I'm quite please with how they cam out.
