Greenpeace

In honour of Greenpeace's 40th anniversary Eastwing agency recently asked its illustrators to produce thumbnails for the agency's home page, this is my interpretation. I decided to focus on Greenpeace's on-going campaign against Arctic drilling. I've been looking at a lot of early twentieth century film titles lately (King Kong, Frankenstein, The Wolf Man) which influenced the text greatly.

Oh Comely Magazine

I was recently asked to illustrate the back cover of Oh Comely magazine. The piece doubles as a board game in which you play as mice collecting tea, milk and sugar for the perfect builders brew or as a cat trying to catch them before they raid the kitchen cupboards. I found it really challenging to illustrated a board game, there are a lot of things to consider when designing one but I won't bore you with them.

I also produced game cards and pieces, which can be downloaded from Oh Comely magazine's website. I have to admit that I haven't actually played the game yet.

Jumper Season

Autumn, time to dig out those jumpers and wrap up warm because wind and rain are on their way. I'm proud to say I have quite a collection in my wardrobe. As soon as the temperature drops below 18 degrees they're out! 18 is the magic number.
